I know the ideology. But have to ask. No one has ever survived death. Why would you be the exception?

Well if the Second coming occurs prior to when God calls me home that would allow for that.
But everlasting life is not corporeal in nature.
I sure as heck would not like to be hundreds or thousands of years old in this bag-o-bones !

I would say, no. I think the desire for immortality is really just a fear of death.

Perhaps immortality is unrealistic but an extended lifespan would be pretty cool.
