Kids are not allowed to wear shirts with pictures on them at one of the Grandchildrens school.
I had been wondering when someone would pick up on the picture problem.
It was obvious to me.
I wish I had seen the picture though.

The fact is that schools can set up pretty much whatever rules they want to be followed on their property.
No chewing gum was one I recall. I even recall no pants on girls. No mohawks, no T shirts.
Listen to him he says the picture cant be up, if he puts the picture up again the SG will act.
Up on what?
Listen guys just because this guard has no idea WHY he is ordered to do it doesnt mean it is not perfectly legal.
the guy who was standing with him ordered him to deal with the situation.
Come on the guy is a school cop.
They are basically security guards.
I have first hand knowledge from my cacus training.
The laws are that you CAN NOT hang any political material up at a school site even while cacusing.
I had to tear the Clinton camps posters down and instruct them in the laws when I ran my cacus.
You can not hang political crap up at a school no matter what the fucntion.
who should still know the law before enforcing his opinion.[/QUOTE]the guy who was standing with him ordered him to deal with the situation.

Heres one example you asswinks.
political signs are in most places only allowed on private property.
NOT ON PUBLIC PROPERTY
I know you will just ignore the fucking facts though
You dont get to put your trash just anywhere.
You have to have the permission of the private property owner to place your crap.
Funny how you cant figure out that is Right in line with the constitution.
why would anyone be surprized you cant figure that one out.
The laws are no such thing. In fact when renting the school for a private party (such as a caucus) you are not only allowed, but they cannot stop you so long as you are not damaging the property and the signs are a specific distance from the entrance. There is nothing about "pictures" being excluded.the guy who was standing with him ordered him to deal with the situation.

When you are renting the school for a private function it, per the law, becomes "private property." You have to follow the rental agreement, but saying "no signs" applies is simply wrong. For instance, a church renting a school on Sundays can put up signs and pictures relating to their purpose.http://www.richlandonline.com/departments/elections/politicalsigns.asp

I don't know. But I know we rented for our polling places, I assume the school had them pay rent for their space and time. You do realize that they were holding a political meeting there, yes?Renting?????
how much did they pay?
