The Alt Right ideology is a weak ideology that it needs its followers to deny almost all facts.
Pretty much, the GOP leaders can say and do anything and even do the opposite of their own words, and the sheep just go along with without a thought, it as if some of them actually cannot think for themselves any more, really strange to watch it on display.

waaaay back around 2002 or 3, just after GWB began destabilizing the ME and granting the top 1% yet more tax relief, there was a blogger from Austin who would go on and on about a reality that's never openly discussed.........the underlying reason for the cultish behavior of these hardcore 'conservatives' is a seething, rabid, red hot HATRED for liberals or anything resembling a so-called liberal. They carry all this hatred for a couple of reasons; indoctrination from birth and genetics (google that, studies have shown a definite hereditary link). It's why they glady accept all the lies while at the same time disbelieving them

Think it started back even further when Newt and gang were going after the Clintons and the demonization of anything and everything that even smacked of being liberal. They made Liberal into a dirty word and we see here daily the sheep have lapped it up and run with it without the slightest clue. Many of these same Liberal hating sheep now enjoy the benefits brought to them by Liberals such as SS and Medicare, hell they will even attack that while of-course still cashing their check every month.
