No, they have to wait until they're 18, so there is ZERO reason to register them to vote until then. If voting is so important a thing, then registering to vote is at least as important as getting a license and no more hassle. Therefore, they should have to wait.

But both aforementioned bills that provision in them. The next step--and there's always a next step--would be to allow them to vote at 16 and 17. The point I'm making, and it's not about the driver's license, is that someone who isn't eligible to vote shouldn't be registered to vote.

Impressive! I can order wine, say "I love you," and ask where's the bathroom in four languages, but that's about it. What else does a girl touring Europe need? lol
