I've read a page from a pastor's website talking about some studies. After that i have reached no conclusion.
(Actually, it would probably be easier if you told me what you thought i was saying and i'll see if that tallies with what i was actually saying as, so far, all i've had are various incorrect assumptions)

Well, that is better than nothing. But how about you give me a list of the studies in peer reviewed journals? Clearly, many of the citations listed here are to articles which will likely reference more articles and outdated studies. It's a common tactic among those spreading bullshit. I see a few that appear like they MIGHT be peer reviewed studies. I will look into them when I have some time, but so far nobody has provided any new information. Just some hacks opinion.

Several other posters have asked for the peer reviewed data, I would also be interested in seeing it. It appears Vanilla's sites are the ones with the agenda.

The claim that the myth was busted implies new information. But, whatever, he has not even presented old information in a clear and accessible form.

Personally, I don't give a crap whether it is genetic or not. It's interesting and worth understanding from a scientific perspective, but it will not affect my political views either way. You are not born Christian and we still allow people to practice that immoral lifestyle.
