Yeah, mom deer not only have hackles, they use their front feet to bash their opponents severely. One of the grandmas who hangs around here with various daughters and g-kids has The Mom Look down pat. When another deer she doesn't like comes by, she just looks at them with her ears laid back and they flee in terror. lol
