According to the U.S. Department of Energy, here's an approximation of where each dollar you spend on gas goes:

• Taxes: 13 cents
• Distribution and Marketing: 8 cents
• Refining: 14 cents
• Crude oil: 65 cents

And we continue to import oil from OPEC and others rather then use our own natural resources....

so....yeah, blame Obama some and anyone else that prohibits or inhibits drilling here.......

the US government makes about the same as the refiners.....
