You must disobey unlawful orders

The Seditious Six incited mutiny.

If you had ever been in the service, which you haven't, but if you had, you'd understand just how serious of an act that is.

All 6 should spend a decade in Leavenworth. They won't - Kelly will be dishonorably discharged and that will be the end of it, but they should all face prison for their attempt to foment a coup against the civilian CiC.
I served in the infantry and then for the JAG Corps in the Republic of Korea and Camp Hood, both times at Division HQs. In the ROK, it was called 'serving at the flag pole' in Camp Casey, across the street from Div HQs.

You have admitted, did you not, that you have not served?

You have a right to your opinion. It is wrong. Kelly will not be tried, much less discharged. That will be the end of it.

You are very uninformed.

I have. A violation of The Posse Comitatus Act in California, for example.

Courts already ruled against you on that - and even if it had been as you lied - it was not an order to troops but a deployment. You lost because the NG was used to protect federal buildings from democrat Brown Shirt terrorists, not as a police force.

I understand your panic - pedocrats have NEVER been subject to laws, and the idea that Kelly and the rest be held to laws meant for the proles and Republicans is a mass disruption of the way our corruptocracy runs. The concept that no one is above the law is abhorrent to democrats.

You, nor any other member of Team Evil cannot and has not identified any illegal order. The Seditious Six were inciting mutiny. Kelly is still in the military and will pay a small price for his attempt to foment a coup.

Pedocrats? Be careful. You might get the hammer.

A short history of the Posse Comitatus Act

The Posse Comitatus Act was passed in 1878 to restrict the use of federal military forces in civilian law enforcement, marking a turning point after the end of Reconstruction.

📜 Origins

  • Context: After the Civil War, federal troops were stationed in the South during Reconstruction (1865–1877) to enforce civil rights and maintain order.
  • Southern opposition: Many Southern politicians objected to what they saw as military occupation, especially the use of troops to enforce voting rights and suppress groups like the Ku Klux Klan.
  • Legislation: In response, Congress passed the Posse Comitatus Act as part of the Army Appropriations Bill of 1878. It was signed into law by President Rutherford B. Hayes on June 18, 1878.

⚖️ Provisions

  • The Act prohibits the use of the U.S. Army (later expanded to other branches) in domestic law enforcement unless explicitly authorized by Congress or the Constitution.
  • It embodies the principle that the military should not act as a domestic police force, safeguarding civil liberties and democratic governance.
  • Exceptions exist: the president may invoke military force during insurrections, or to enforce civil rights laws.

🔄 Amendments

  • 1956: Expanded to include the Air Force.
  • 1981: Clarified military assistance in drug interdiction and other law enforcement support.
  • 2021: Extended to cover the Navy, Marine Corps, and Space Force.
  • The Coast Guard remains exempt because it has a law enforcement mission under the Department of Homeland Security.

🧭 Significance

  • The Act reflects a deep American tradition of civilian control over the military.
  • It arose from the political struggles of Reconstruction but continues to shape debates about military involvement in domestic crises, from civil rights enforcement to border security and disaster response.

It appears not all of them are following the law by not following unlawful orders...which targeting civilians, especially survivors in the water, would be. It's a war crime and it's murder.
Trump has labeled them as terrorists so the rules are different.
Why are you pro-Trump and against investigating these events?
What are you talking about? I never said I was against an investigation.

No, that is not what they said. The military was reminded they were obligated to refuse to obey unlawful orders.
Why? Do Dems think they have suddenly forgotten THIS year at THIS specific time that they can refuse illegal orders? Do Dems do this type of PSA every year when new recruits show up? Of course not.

The reason they're doing it now is because they are indirectly saying that war crimes are being committed.
Many in and out of government were saying the President's orders were unlawful.
They very well maybe.
The President has no power to rule his orders were this or that. Only SCOTUS can do that, or the legislature by law.
Correct.

Not when they are helpless survivors, but feel free to declare an American family in the water, call them terrorists and then shoot them like fish in a barrel to prove your point.

Sure, like the MAGAt cracker retards, you only danced around it. :rofl2::ROFLMAO::rofl2:

Soooo....you only condemn Democrats for giving their opinion? Interesting.
I condemn them for using their opinion as the basis for telling military personnel to disobey orders because war crimes ARE currently being committed and, in the process, increasing the political temperature and increasing the likelihood that there will be attacks on military personnel.

I didn't say I agree with it. I'm telling you what Trump did, just like he has misused a laundry list of emergency powers to accomplish other things.

Remember Obama sent out papers for soldiers to fill out as to whether they would fire on citizens or not.
Meanwhile..warplanes are flying every day.

Nice backpedal from these posts.
Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, telling the country that our military is committing war crimes is a bad idea.
There's been no cover-up. There's been no charges brought. No judicial body has said that war crimes have been committed.

For Congress to come out and imply that there have a been war crimes committed is irresponsible and dangerous.
Just so you know, your hero Paul is a member of Congress and you didn't condemn him, so are you saying it's only wrong for the Democrats to talk about it? You know, like a typical MAGAt cracker retard?
