And yet you did. Through COBRA, you had access to insurance. Even after COBRA expired, you could have independently gotten insurance. But you were well within the window of time to keep your old insurance, had you not defaulted on it.

Most doctors check to see you have medical coverage before they will accept you. When you go for your checkups, how do you convince them to treat you without medical coverage?
