Threats against election workers and other public officials have moved beyond calls and texts to shootings and a bombing.

Threats that resulted in charges this week include a Philadelphia man vowing to "skin" and kill a state party official for recruiting poll watchers and an Alabama man threatening to execute election officials in Arizona.

An Arizona man was charged with shootings at a Democratic Party campaign office.

A California man was charged with bombing a courthouse. He allegedly yelled the government had taken his guns and called on Americans to rebel as he was taken into custody.

Notice not a single MAGAt speaks out about such violence or violent rhetoric coming from Trump or other MAGAts.

GOD forbid we have fair and honest elections as they cry about.
They are the ones out doing shit like this all the while planing how they can do things to cheat , commit fraud and at the same time say the Dems are the ones doing it.
They are a bunch of low life scumbags , and IMO that is a complement.

Trump was shot, dummy.

Two assassination attempts by Trump haters.

Heels Up Harris is calling Trump a Nazi, a Fascist, Hitler…putting his life at risk by some far left loon like you.

Get a clue, dummy.

All 3 people who tried to harm trump were magats. Further proving this info above correct.

There is a rising wave of right wing violence in America.
Agreed, especially against Jews. What the MAGAts don't understand is that Islamic Jihad are religious conservatives just like them. The Alt-Right hates Jews too, but are using them to rebuild the Temple of Soloman. That means taking down the Dome of the Rock. The MAGAt POV is "one step at a time".

New cases of political violence roil US ahead of contentious election

The recent attacks were among at least 300 cases of political violence identified by Reuters since Trump’s supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, including at least 51 incidents this year. With just two weeks to go before the Nov. 5 presidential election, the cases are part of the biggest and most sustained increase in U.S. political violence since the 1970s....

....Trump himself has declined to rule out the possibility of violence if he loses in November. When asked by Time magazine in April if he expected violence after the election, he said, “If we don’t win, you know, it depends.” He has told supporters that any loss in this year’s race would be due to fraud....

Political violence in polarized U.S. at its worst since 1970s

In contrast to the 1970s, much of today's political violence is aimed at people instead of property — and most of the recent deadly outbursts tracked by Reuters have come from the right. Case in point: the Trump supporter who shot a neighbor he suspected of being a Democrat.

The Nov. 5 killing of Anthony King was among 213 cases of political violence identified by Reuters since the Jan. 6, 2021, attack by supporters of former President Donald Trump on the U.S. Capitol. Three academics who reviewed the cases say they add to growing evidence that America is grappling with the biggest and most sustained increase in political violence since the 1970s.

The violence has killed at least 39 people, including King, roiling many aspects of American life, from small gatherings to large-scale public events. Some deaths followed one-on-one disputes, such as a fatal brawl last year between two Florida men arguing over Trump’s business acumen. Others happened in public settings, such as the shooting of five social justice protesters in Portland last year by a man immersed in far-right political rhetoric. Politically motivated mass killings claimed 24 of the lives, including the May 2022 shooting of 10 Black shoppers in Buffalo by a white supremacist who called for a race war.

Trump was shot, two assassination attempts, Walter.

They were by Trump haters, Walter.

Get a clue, Walter.

Poor Walter.
Two acts out of hundreds, ex-Captain Earl. Did you get out of the USAF on a section 8? It would explain a lot if you did. TIA

In 1970, the year I was born, there were more bombings than days in the year. There were close to 500 bombings that year, almost all connected to the far left.

Out of nearly 500 bombings, there was one death. There was some confusion, and someone did not get the message to evacuate. One death out of nearly 500 bombings. Those bombings were clearly terrorism, and one death is one death too many, but compare that to today's right wing terrorism and it really shows how far things have come... In the wrong direction.

Once again, nearly 500 bombings, not attempted bombings. If you include the attempted bombings, it is several times higher.

There was a lot more violence at the height of the Vietnam War. Kent State was May of 1970. I was in 8th grade then. These things do seem to follow cycles, but the violence seems to be dropping overall.
