but I don't. It is the burden I must carry

If the GOP thinks that going along with this Shamnesty plan is going to help them with hispanics, they are deluded and deserve to be a minority party. If they think that the demalquedacrats are going to share their hispanic voters they are idiots.

They would be better off fighting on principle. Because what will happen in the end is that they won't get the hispanic vote and their own supporters will abandon them. Want proof?

When Reagan won re-election in 1984, he got 37% of the hispanic vote. In 1986, Reagan went along with the Shamnesty scam of Teddy "Chappaquidick" Kennedy who said at the time, if we did it, we would never have to deal with it again. Ooooops. In 1988 when Bush whipped Ducockis, Bush got 31% of the hispanic vote. So we know that supporting amnesty didn't help the GOP attract hispanic voters. Yet here the GOP come again like Charlie Brown with Lucy holding the football promising that this time is different. Or since we have a sexually liberated board, it is like the guy who keeps promising some broad he won't cum in her mouth yet blows a load right down her throat. Sorta like that.

You are never right about anything. Immigration reform is the right thing to do regardless of the political impacts.

Chasing away supporters like you two would actually be a benefit to the GOP.

Racists fucktards repeating the ignorance of Limbaugh are wrong about the political impacts, as well. Presidential elections are not won based on popular vote. Most hispanics voted for Gore in 2000 but Bush won that vote 50% to 48% in Florida. It is in states like Florida where it matters. How they vote in California is of little importance.

It is not even necessary that they win the voter block, but if it votes hard against them they will lose. Further, it turns off independents and many voters that lean Republican.

Republicans are not going to be successful by continuing to retreat inward.

Just like the burden Wlie E. carries. He ain't no fool either.

Romney won independents by 10 points

But, please tell me it is the right thing to reward people who violated our laws?

Why is this time going to be different than 1986 when Teddy Kennedy said we would never do it again?

What other laws do you believe we should ignore besides the immigration laws....or can we all pick and choose our own, kinda like Obama.

We have lots of illegals here. We need to deal with that. They are not going to be deported. There will never be sufficient political will, for that not that I would support it anyway. So we need to take a rational approach that will allow them to be as productive as possible while dealing with the problems in the system. We also need to continue attracting the best and the brightest.

You idiot racists will be cut out of the conversation. Either the GOP will shut you up or the voters will remove Republicans from office and deliver all power to the Democrats. I definitely prefer the former.

Do you think we should even have immigration laws? Should we enforce them?

Why is the only solution rewarding law breakers?

Does Howey keep promising not to cum in your mouth and reneging?

No, but it appears that's what's happening in your case. I'm glad for you that you brought it up. You'll just have to tell him. After all, the least he can do is say, "Sorry" the next time it happens.

Let us know. In the words of Dr. Crane, "We're listening."

This is the second time you've mentioned it. Obviously it's really bothering you. I don't know what else to say except you will have to talk to him about it.

So I'll ask you again...

What other laws do you believe we should ignore besides the immigration laws....or can we all pick and choose our own, kinda like Obama.?

What are "the problems in the system", other than lack of enforcing the law ?

Why should anybody obey the laws if disobeying costs you nothing.........

Did you ever hear that saying, about not learning from your mistakes ?.....or about doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome ?

You have to fucking know that even though todays illegals become legal, in 10 years we'll have 10 million more illegals to deal with
and there wont' be any 'best and brightest' bullshit....it'll be the same poorest and neediest, until the country goes completely into the crapper......

We'll become Mexico....a third world lawless shithole of corruption....

The laws should be changed to ones we can reasonably enforce or want to enforce. Obama has deported way more illegal immigrants than Bush or any other president has. But that is not going to work. We need laws we can enforce not laws that please stupid old racists.

There is more wrong with immigration than just the illegals. We need more immigrants and to streamline naturalization. Without them we will have difficulty paying your welfare.

He should learn to swallow and start enjoying it, since it happens so often.

Frankly, I think something else is bothering him and that's not really the problem. After all, who would have an emoticon like the one in msg. #16 in their repertoire? It's most likely his regular signature when writing to his "buddies".

I don't know whether Republican support for immigration reform will win them more Hispanic support, but the fact that GHWB didn't match Reagan's 1984 blowout vote numbers among Hispanics (to the extent the numbers in the OP are accurate) isn't evidence that it won't. It's probably tough to find any demographic among which GHWB didn't lose votes as compared to Reagan.
