Your god is Useless

I led a 41 year old Hawaiian guy to Christ yesterday and we prayed to receive Christ, for the braddah’s love for avid to grow. I was at one of my job sites, Queens hospital.

His two kids were chasing a chicken in the parking lot and he joked with me about covid and have to chase one chicken for food.

I immediately wanted to get down to the Lord’s business so I asked him, braddah, do you know the Lord?

He said he used to go Word of Life (a prosperity word of faith ass church) and I told him no good. By the 3rd time telling him no good he said yea they only like 10% of my money.

I’ll spare you the content of the presentation of the gospel but it’s Jn 3:14-16.

I explained to him that God was not up above saying to Himself, I can’t believe Josh just did that again, but that God knows we will do it again. [emoji4]

Then I emphasized the free gift for us of eternal life was not because God was big hearted enough to say it’s okay I’ll let it go.. no, the righteousness of God demanded payment for sin and that God paid it by adding humanity to Himself in the third Person of the Son (Himself, however da hell dat works) and literally killed Himself (how I do not fully know) in our place, and that now we, Josh and I, get newborn human spirits. And that any sinning he was currently addicted to (excessive wine consumption into oblivion) was not being committed by who God said he now is because he should never identify with his old nature again and that it was his old nature that was the problem but it wasn’t really him. The new him.

Then I realized he was suffering from no work so I gave him $50 and got his number to follow up with him. I didn’t care if he took the $ and hid it from his family and got drunk.

Because sometimes when people are at their lowest points, they need acts of love without conditions

Got another Bruddah today. Kaweo. 23 year old Hawaiian. I didn’t pray with him because he had a woman (smh) with him.

Probably nice too but I was only talking with him as we were outside in the parking lot.

Went through my do you know the lord entrance. He asked me about the work I do and said he’d like to try.

He accepted Christ and we exchanged numbers so as to follow up.

God moves while man hates.

In Mich. we had 3 politicians die from Corona. The first was Issac Robinson a huge and boisterous and very nice guy. Then Benny Napolean died at 65. He was another really nice guy. Last night Dearborn Heights mayor Paletko died from it. I knew them all and it is a big waste.

It is odd. Eventually the medical experts may know why some are so adversely affected and others are not.

Right now, it's just a roll of the dice to see who isn't harmed, who is harmed and who dies. The age trend is there as well as the 'compromised immune system", but it's not a certainty.

The latest strain is much more transmissible. We are heading for 400,000 deaths and reds still call it a hoax.

Age and immune systems doesn’t even explain it. My sister’s FIL is 89 years older, diabetes and high blood pressure. He was in the hospital for a few days, but has recovered. A friends dad, 82, grossly overweight with high cholesterol and circulation problems, also a survivor.

I have heard blood type is being researched. I think they have a lot to learn about this virus.
