you are the one that ignores the evidence. you have an agenda and that is it. I follow the evidence and the direction that it points. His story has been consistent throughout, he did not "chase trayvon down" he was feet from his car, he had multiple head injuries, the media has participated an outright propaganda. He passed a lie detector test.
There is no doubt in my fucking mind if he failed it anti-zimmermans would never be shutting the fuck up about it.
Even if we were to stipulate that the lie detector test is only 50% accurate, added together with everything else, it continues to corroborate everything else that happened.
I have been right on everything so far. Maybe it's time you and your kind defer to my judgment, because I've been right and you've been wrong.

No, he passed a VSA test. Every time you call it a lie detector test you are deliberately trying to mislead people into thinking he passed a polygraph. He didn't.In other words, you've already arrived at a verdict. We know.

Well if GZ gets acquitted of all charges I'll just consider him the male Casey Anthony, and wish another pox on the Florida judicial system.
bijou you need to learn what "Speculation" and "opinion" means, because you clearly have a firm lack of understanding of those terms.
I have a firm grasp of the definitions of both. They are the foundation of your position.
when the hero zimmerman is acquitted it will be a great day for justice. it will be the affirmation of the necessity of the violent attacker trayvon's death. It brings me great joy to know he is dead and in the ground. It's literally one of the best things that has happened all year.

I am very happy a violent attacker is dead. That is what you get when you jump people. He was a waste of space and shouldn't have shared our air. Zimmerman is a hero, and a valiant defender of the public wellbeing. More people should be like zimmerman, he is a role model and people should look up to him. I think he's a great person.
Hey, when you're done celebrating Trayvon's death, why don't you start a 'Zimmy's My Hero' fan club? I'm sure he could use the money.

believe it or not I have been thinking about this. Not the money angle, he's already raised a lot of money from others. But maybe a JPP group. I'm thinking Team Zimmerman or something.
I'm not really trolling. I believe what I am saying, but the hyperbole is elevated.
I'm mad because this is just one of those things where I see your side is absolutely delusional. The evidence has all lined up in zimmerman's favor so far. The media has outright spliced his audio to make him say something he never said. You claimed he was never injured, but he was. People claimed zimmerman chased trayvon down the street, but he didn't. On and on and on and on. I feel as many made up their minds, they've dug themselves in a hole, and now they will not objectively consider the evidence.
Take my word for what it's worth, but when I FIRST heard about this story, I thought zimmerman should be charged with manslaughter. I'm not on any team. But as the evidence came out, and the lies were shown, my opinion on the matter changed.
You have one side with zero evidence, merely conjecture, and castigating a man before hearing all the details. This isn't something that is yet to happen. It's already happened. Over and over again. I turn the tables 180 degrees and do the same thing with trayvon, making him the bad guy, using the same arguments that have been used against me and zimmerman, and I am an asshole, even though there is more evidence supporting my position than the contrary, not to mention that in our society and judicial system, tie goes to the defendant, and that the burden of proof is on a side that currently hasn't provided much.
There is no doubt in my mind, that if all the facts of the case came out and what happened was zimmerman said "good evening trayvon, how are you? and trayvon punched zimmerman in the face and started attacking him, bashing his head into the pavement, the anti-zimmermans would still want zimmerman in jail. I think that is fucked up.
It's less about trayvon and zimmerman. It's about lazy thinking and the unwilligness to budge and concede anything in the face of evidence.
The burden of proof is on the anti-zimmermans. So far I have seen none.
And if it comes to trial and a bunch of new stuff comes to light that I haven't seen, I will happily change my stance. So far that opportunity has not presented itself.

To be as short, and as succinct about this case as I can, I see much about this case that is troubling.
On that night I am sure that both Z supporters, and M supporters can agree that both individuals that night had plenty of opportunity to avoid the altercation that ended tragically.
None of us knows for 100% certainty what exactly happened that night.
In this country everyone, no matter whether we like the person, act, or circumstance, that person accused is innocent until proven by a jury of his/her peers guilty.
Everything, and I do mean everything else is pure speculation. So when I see people in here so totally disregarding anothers PoV on the subject, in such a manner as to mock, and incite the person with which they disagree, I have to think that someone is going to have a huge bit of egg on the face. And, I'm not sayin' but I would not be throwing my lot in with anything Al Sharpton or Super Jessie Jackson has to say on the matter, considering their track record on the Duke lacrosse fuck up.

The only "evidence" we've seen, and I use the term loosely, comes from GZ.
It wasn't the media, it was one medium, NBC News. And they were WRONG, unquestionably. They used his words but not in full context.
I did, as did everyone else who saw the grainy video and pictures. We didn't know otherwise until new, close-up photos were released.
In the full transcript (here) the dispatcher asks "are you following him?" and GZ answers "yeah." The cell phone call between TM and his girlfriend reference him being followed, so I'm not sure what you mean when you say he didn't chase Trayvon down the street, unless you're using chase to mean running after, as opposed to walking after. The dictionary definition is "to pursue or follow" and GZ was definitely doing that.
We don't have all the evidence to consider yet. Even if I do a 180 and completely agree with everything you've said, I still need to hear what the other side says.
What about GZ's lies? Don't they even make you pause?
You're doing the same with TM and haven't even heard his (the prosecutor's) side of the story.
The prosecution hasn't provided much because they're keeping it for the trial. What, exactly, can they say? They're in effect speaking for a dead man. Look up the Rashomon effect. This is why we need a trial.
That's because we don't have TM to grill like a sausage over the events of that night. And nobody expects GZ to incriminate himself.
What are we supposed to weigh his evidence against?

I'll never happily change my stance if he's acquitted, the same as with the Casey Anthony trial. But I'll move on.
