Zimmerman sues NBC

He'll lose....freedom of the press.

Unless your side is willing to embrace the fairness doctrine and tell the real truth in broadcasting.

Freedom of the press has never allowed outright falsifying facts, just to promote an agenda.
If you read the article, NBC has already fired two of their employees over this.

I predict an out-of-court settlement, with non-disclosure statements being signed.

Rush has reasonable suspicion to believe that she is. What NBC did wasn't merely defamatory, but the fact that they edited the audio shows they were knowingly engaging in slander.

Rush is not my 'go to' guy, however I think there may just be enough there that NBC will either pay up in settlement or lose.

Not at all....what's the difference?

911 recordings for one, just as in trial. Then there's the jury decision, inconvenient I know.

For the record, I don't think Zimmerman should ever have left his vehicle. The inconvenient truth then and now, he had every right to.

NBC f'd up with the records, it's on tape.

And so did Fox....

For the record...I agree with you. I don't think Zimmerman is some kind of monster...I think he overstepped his bounds by a negligent margin....and I think Martin's parents have a case in civil court....provided that he's not immune.

Personally; I think that Zimmerman has a better case against the Martins, seeing as how they are responsible for their son's actions and Zimmerman was found "not guilty" which would suggest that they felt Trayvon did attack Zimmerman and that Zimmerman was right in defending himself.
I don't thnk that it would be a very smart thing for the Martins to even attempt it.

Seems that way doesn't it?

Although i'd imagine it's accentuated much more here, in our own little cauldron of spite.

Oh it's pretty accentuated here as well. I imagine because we are so competetive we grow personally attached to things we really aren't apart of.

How is this news? Hell, all during the trial and for months preceding it every sound byte from NBC on Zimmy ended with a disclaimer they were being sued.

And if news organizations could be successfully sued for doctoring news, then FOX would be bankrupt.
