Even people on the right have said that racial profiling played a part and have defended it because some of the other burglars were black.

When Fox News, WABC Talk Radio and their ilk can be successfully sued by all the folks they've slandered over the years, then Georgie will have a shot. Until then, he just better pray that a Civil Suit won't be lodged against him.

I don't know that it was purposeful. I don't see how they could not know that would be the implication, so even if it was not intentional they could still be negligent.

The problem is that it does seem probable that he was racially profiling Martin and even defenders of Zimmerman seem to agree. Geraldo, seemed to imply he was profiling him based on race and dress. Should the press be prevented from reporting on such issues and how are we going to determine when it is okay to leave out context and when it is not?

I am sorry, free speech means more to me than the reputations of you poor n-word guys. I don't think his case is frivolous though and if he can uncover more proof of their intent to paint him negatively then maybe he should win.

No, nothing wrong with it. No pointing out racial profiling existed is not saying someone is a racist. Editing a tape to make it appear someone is racist is something else entirely. That is what NBC did.

No, it is not circular. If you have a string of incidents where a 40 something white guy is streaking through the quad, do you look for suspicious young black women? Or do you just look for Will Ferrell? Is it racist to look for someone fitting the description of the perpetrator? No.

To make someone out to be a racist by editing a tape is something entirely different. That is what NBC did. It made it look like Zimmerman was racist.

There was no indication that a crime had just been committed.

Unless you know different, I believe that all of the burglars were black, at least in the fifteen months prior to the incident.

a settlement is likely... they want this to stay out of the public spotlight as much as possible. I think Zimmerman should force them into court and make a spectacle of them.

I wonder if you would be much different if you lived in a crime ridden neighbourhood? It is easy to be so snooty about it when you live in a nice safe middle class area.
 
Actually, if Hannity has the original airing correct the ill intent is not at all clear and Zimmerman is going to have a tough case. The statements are separated in different graphics and there is a fairly clear audio separation. Also, note that Hannity's guest agrees that it "goes with the narrative of the profiling."

I have lived in a lot of different types of areas. I have never supported ignoring the need for probable cause, bad police work and/or racial profiling.

They did not suggest he said anything he did not say. They dropped context, but there was not much suggestion over what it meant.
 
team trayvon simply can't face the truth that they were lied to and manipulated. they were absolutely duped.

when you deliberately edit audio and splice it, it is to a certain end. They straight up lied by omission. And you are having a crisis of cognitive dissonance, saying he has firm ground while also saying what nbc did wasn't that bad. It can't be both baxter.

I think you are just trying to hedge your prediction bets now given how much it blew up in your face last time.
