A Florida judge on Thursday set a $1 million bond with new restrictions on George Zimmerman, saying he believes the suspect may have been planning to flee the country to avoid prosecution in the killing of Trayvon Martin.

from a logical stand point, this makes no sense. zimmerman never went outside of FL and readily turned himself in when ordered to do so. the judge is not making a legal decision, rather, a political decision. had the judge said the bond needs to be 1 million because of the crime, i could understand that, but to claim he is a flight risk, flies in the face of logic, facts and the history of zimmerman obeying the court.

i don't recall that. do you have a cite? i recall it gathering momentum once jesse jackson et al....started complaining. i don't recall obama making an issue out of this or saying much about it.

How so? After that time we started hearing of Special Prosecutors, and Congress members like the contemptible Bobby Rush, (former Black Panther from Chicago), taking to the floor with race laced diatribes, and getting kicked out of the chamber because he violated the rules.

Then we had the Prosecutor, politically assigned, brought a case of 2nd degree Murder to bypass the GJ process, because she knew that she couldn't get them to buy it.

Now it seems we have a Judge that is possibly acting politically, and biased against the defense. But I won't fully make that call yet.

You had Super Jessie, and Rev. Al blowhard (an MSNBC host BTW) out there calling for Z's head, The NBPP putting a bounty, dead or alive on Z, which is against the law, and our wonderful DoJ head, Eric 'I love the FALN' Holder not doing a damned thing about it...

But you're right No politics there.....:palm:

What you 'have', is a judge that didn't like being lied to. Nothing more
