George Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch volunteer, stands in the courtroom during his murder trial in the death of Trayvon Martin. He was found not guilty July 13. (Source: CNN)

SANFORD, FL (RNN) – Days after his acquittal in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, George Zimmerman helped four people involved in a car crash, officials reported.
The Seminole County Sheriff's Office released a statement Monday on the single-vehicle accident. It happened Wednesday when an SUV went off the road and rolled over.
Zimmerman, 29, and another man helped the people out of the vehicle by the time law enforcement arrived.
He did not witness the accident and left after speaking with a deputy, authorities stated. No injuries were reported from the incident.
A jury found Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder charges July 13. He claimed he shot and killed Martin, 17, in self defense after a fight broke out between the two.

Hey, Bart. Do you know what Zimmerman did to "rescue" that family?

He called 9-1-1, just like a dozen other motorists did that day. This is being blown way out of proportion.

Zimmerman actually stayed in his vehicle while watching others rescue the family. FOX lied. What's new?

He finally learned to stay in his vehicle...

The people who really rescued that family should be getting the media attention.
I am guessing this is why the family does not want to talk the media.
If they tell the truth, Zimmerman might kill them...
Pat

ha ha

We know one thing: If Zippy should end up killing that family that snubbed him
"it would be God's will."

The f*cking pussy never got out of the vehicle, remember this punk-ass is a coward too, with a

target on his fat ass!

some people don't brag about stuff. i go out of my way not to bring big things up like that.

Everyone brags, it's human nature...and you know damn well Zimmy would. He'd have his ass on the phone calling O'Mara and every Tom, Dick, and Harry about it.

Why do you really think he was a wannabe cop and patrolled the wild streets of Sanford? He's a glutton for praise.

3. Zimmerman bragged about beating previous criminal charges
Zimmerman used the account to let friends know that he had gotten out of legal trouble that year. In the blog section of his MySpace page, Zimmerman boasts after two felony charges he faced — for obstructing justice and for committing battery against a law enforcement officer — were reduced (and ultimately dropped altogether after he completed an anger management course). "2 felonies dropped to 1 misdemeanor!!!!!!!!!!! The man knows he was wrong," Zimmerman wrote. That boasting is telling of Zimmerman's thought process, Martin attorney Crump says. "You think you can always get away with stuff," Crump tells The Washington Post of Zimmerman. "Every time I go to court, I win. I beat it."

if he was a wannabe cop why did he turn down being able to drive his own security car with lights on it and the option to wear an official uniform? Are you aware he was offered an official looking car to ride around in? and a uniform? He shy'd away from all of it.

That's a new one...where's your cite for that? Cuz it sure didn't come from the homeowner's association.

At an emergency homeowner’s association meeting on March 1, “one man was escorted out because he openly expressed his frustration because he had previously contacted the Sanford Police Department about Zimmerman approaching him and even coming to his home,” the resident wrote in an email to HuffPost. “It was also made known that there had been several complaints about George Zimmerman and his tactics" in his neighborhood watch captain role.

And you call this shy

Usually he was just a cool guy,” said the former co-worker, who the newspaper didn't name. “But it was like Jekyll and Hyde. When dude snapped, he snapped.” The Daily News said Zimmerman earned $50 to $100 a night for the parties. He was fired for being too aggressive with patrons.

“He had a temper and he became a liability,” the newspaper quoted the former co-worker as saying. “One time this woman was acting a little out of control. She was drunk. George lost his cool and totally overreacted,” he said. “It was weird, because he was such a cool guy, but he got all nuts. He picked her up and threw her. It was pure rage. She twisted her ankle. Everyone was flipping out.”

The former co-worker quoted by the Daily News said he had not recently been in touch with Zimmerman, but his latest troubles came as a shock nonetheless.

He definitely loved being in charge. He loved the power,”

I predict more problems with the law in his future if he ever leaves his home.

I predict you're right.

And no, Grind, he's not shy at all.

Zimmerman asked the officer if he recognized him from TV and the officer said no

Bye...that truck looks just like the one in Gerstle's driveway.

‘There has already been the backlash of people saying this is some sort of PR stunt but it isn’t. We’ve had it confirmed by the Sheriff.’

The heroic rescue took place just four days later
, less than a mile from where Zimmerman shot the teen in a gated Sanford community in Seminole County.

Sanford Police Department Capt Jim McAuliffe said that Zimmerman was identified by one of the crash victims as the man who pulled him and his family from the mangled blue Ford Explorer.

Poor Howey....spreading his lies ....

yeah, the crash victim who has avoided the media like the plague. Not saying he's lying but he ain't talking.

He got caught up in Zimmy's hero quest. Now he knows he was set up.

Cope, the guy I've been working with on this, is trying to see him. Hopefully he'll be flying out soon and we'll drive over there.
