Can a President send anyone away to be tortured if he simply claims they are enemies of the State?

To erase American Citizenship is to erase America. This is much of the reason you Stalinists refuse to admit that citizenship exists. You demand that criminal aliens in the nation are equal, or perhaps superior in rights and protections to American Citizens.

I get it very well, unlike you. You just used Roosevelts actions as an excuse for any and all future presidents to do the same, yet you are excusing your side while accusing the other side..............you make yourself feel better about it by calling me a trumpy, despite the fact that i'm saying that trump is wrong on the issue. talk about being deluded, you take the cake.

Otherwise one man would be allowed to send anyone to be tortured in El Salvador by simply claiming they fit a category. Is that a power Americans want to give the President on his own accord without a check or balance?

I am certain the answer from any rational American would be a resounding NO.

I see from the MAGA offerings above, they just don’t get, today it is immigrants, granted immigrant we don’t need, but tomorrow it could be journalists, the next day, perhaps opposing politicians, we all know Trump has called just about anyone who even criticizes him a “traitor,” “enemy of the people,” or something similar

The due process clause doesn’t know race, nationality, political position, or if you are an undesirable, it applies to all, even to shitheads who deserved to be flushed. And last I knew, no one nor any entity declared war on the United States
