Even before all this deplorable garbage shit hit the fan, his mom and dad have been struggling to procure services for him. He will be five this Sept. and won't start K till next year. So far the only "help" he's gotten is a once a week, one hour play group with a sped teacher.

Have they looked into ARC? Association of retarded children.
And maybe talk to the school board about how they plan to teach him?
That is what we did but now that was about 40 or so years ago and we got a lot of help.

IMO once Trump's Tariffs are all put in place and the price of EVERYTHING you buy goes up and it hits them in the pocketbook a LOT of them will be crying.

It is a major hurt for a lot of people. For those people who have just enough to retire in the next 2 years and then suddenly see 2 years worth of that money disappear is painful. Then to see that inflation will be coming back on top if it hurts even more.

Toxic is 100% MAGAT and therefore does not care. Imagine a person working where there is a mandatory retirement age which they are approaching, and suddenly their retirement account has lost 10% of its value. MAGATs don't care unless it affects them personally. Maybe when mom and dad have to move in with them because they can't afford their home any longer they'll wake the fuck up. Doubtful, though.

Oh and to just let you know we got the most help from ARC , they helped us work through the system and got us the help we needed to get our son in school.
