Too bad. That's what showed the Earth isn't flat. So does the moon. So does the Sun.

My point is the type of person that is going to believe the earth is flat today is not the type of person who is going to be convinced by a mathematical concept like quadrants or even dumbing it down to a simple demonstration using shadows and a piece of poster board. In order to believe that the Earth is flat TODAY requires one to believe certain things about any number of people in the world around them, who would have to be conspiring, en mass, to hide the truth from us.

He sure does (IF he's the one making the affirmative claim that the Earth is a sphere).

Likewise, if the flat earther is making the affirmative claim that the Earth is flat, then the flat earther needs to provide evidence for that claim.

The burden of proof is always on the person who is making the claim.

The same is true as it relates to Covid. If you believe that Covid isn't deadly, the issue isn't availability of information. The issue is that you are a nutter butter conspiracy theorist.

If the "sphere earther" is claiming that the Earth is a sphere (and the flat earther is simply rejecting that claim), then the "sphere earther" has the burden of proof re: his affirmative position that the Earth is a sphere.

The Earth is a spheroid, not a sphere. It's slightly flattened at the poles. This can be shown by any quadrant. But, for the purposes of this argument, you can consider the Earth a sphere. It's awfully hard to convince a flat earther like Void.
