A public pretender will generally toss a plea deal at a defendant and tell--they'll use the term "advise"-- them to take it. So, that's pretty much being denied your day in court, and plea deals always come with strings that pretty much end any realistic possibility of an appeal.

Thoughts ^ as such mean little to the Red Hat Club, they really don’t give a rat’s ass about the Constitution, they profess they do, but in reality, as their support of Trump shitting on the Constitution proves, they don’t, so concepts as due process mean nothing to them

After all, the public defender doesn't give a shit if you are found innocent or guilty. All they care about is getting your case over with ASAP to get paid and since they get paid a flat fee per case, the less time they have to spend on yours, the better it is for them.
