Good question. Would the runner-up, Nikki Haley, run in his stead? Vance? I don't see many of the MAGATs going for Haley, or moderates/independents going for Vance. If Trump does have an MI or a stroke and doesn't pass away, he probably would insist on running anyways, his ego is that huge.

Walz in a debate really has two choices:
Lie about every position he has,
or,
Lose the debate because 80% of America won't agree with the radical Left on anything.
For example, if the border and illegal immigration come up what will Walz say? He can't openly say he's for open borders and legalizing all 20 million + illegals in the US. So, his only real choice is to lie about his position on that issue.
Same goes for taxes, foreign policy, energy policy, environmental issues, etc. Walz either lies or loses.

I can tell you this: A hell of a lot more Americans don't agree with the radical right than with the radical left. If 80% of America won't agree with the radical left on anything...95% of America won't agree with the radical right on anything.
