A President Needs Good Judgment Rather than Experience

I advocate that as a simple first step. We can't keep allowing idiots to pretend that they "really, really, believed" that Bush wasn't going to invade. The American populace that accept that excuse are pointed evidence that we get stupider by the minute.
No, people are not that stupid - they are simply that partisan. But it is a low percentage. Hence the fact that congress actually has a lower rating than the president.

Most know they are lying and are wiling to at least verbally acknowledge it, even while voting for them again. Very few are wiling to take them to task for it.

But I disagree taking WPA away without an amendment to take its place would somehow be a step forward. Try to remember there was no WPA when we got ourselves involved in Korea and Vietnam. As flawed as WPA is, it is better than nothing. At least presidents so far have declined to challenge it, thereby involving congress in the decision even if it is minimally.
