A smarter way to get 'free' electricity

No, I generally think of the socks on the lefty side.

Conservatives usually don't need to hide behind sock accounts.
Right. Plus, I don't have time for managing a sock account, let alone two of them... Conservatives also usually like to work and otherwise keep busy.

No one said that solar panels create energy.
You did. Don't try to deny your own posts.
They convert photons into electrical current - they create electricity from sunlight. Sunlight is an energy source.
Only when there is sunlight. That doesn't happen at night, or if the panels are covered by snow or ice or excessive dust, or if they've been damaged by sand and dust, wind, hail, snow, critters, etc.
You are still locked this paradox. Which is it, dude?
Please don't be ignorant.
Please don't be ignorant.
Please don't be ignorant.
Please don't be ignorant.
Chanting mindlessly won't work. Solar panels have no return. You don't sell them again. It is not free electricity. It is very expensive electricity, and provides NOTHING at night.
Ad Hominem fallacy.
Hate being called a thief? That's what you are. You took my money to pay for YOUR solar installation. That's theft, dude.
Please don't be ignorant.
You cannot make a paradox disappear by denying it, dude. You must clear it. The only way to clear it is to choose ONE of the conflicting arguments and utterly discard the other.

Let me again remind you of your current paradoxes:

1) Installing solar panels means electricity is free.
2) Installing solar panels costs $20-50k.

1) My electricity is free.
2) My house is connected to Edison electric.

1) My house is not connected to Edison electric.
2) My house is connected to Edison electric.

1) The only maintenance needed on solar panels is to hose them down.
2) A company comes out regularly to do maintenance on the panels.

1) Panels last for 10 years.
2) Panels are guaranteed for 30 years.

1) Government is evil because of the theft.
2) Accepting stolen goods from the government is good.

Denying them won't make them go away.

Here's a smarter way to get "free" electricity. Instead of stupidly investing in solar panels for your home, buy stock in the local utility company (note does not apply in blue states where these companies are often sued and punished for making power).

Buy sufficient stock so that the rate of increase in value and dividends equals or exceeds your yearly total cost of electricity. That is, you are now having the utility company pay you back in full for the electricity you buy from them in the form of their profits and increase in stock value!

To top that off, unlike solar panels, when you go to sell you home--if you do--there's no downside for potential buyers. They may not like or want your solar panels, but they don't care if you own lots of stock. You can also sell your stock and reinvest the money in your new utility company to continue to pay nothing for electricity. You might even make a profit along the way unlike having bought solar panels that are just a new loss in depreciation from the moment they're installed.

Capitalism rules, Socialism drools...

Cute

Sure buy phone company stock and if you get profits, you will have free phones and internet. Invest in an auto manufacturer and get free cars. But Kroger stock and get free food. The premise is ridiculous.
Guess who didn't even read the post to which he is angrily responding.

This thread has morphed into a dumpster fire!

I got your free electricity right here!
