Better, IMHO, to treat everyone equally and seek to maximize the potential of all Americans. This starts in our public schools.
We, the People aren't fixing broken homes, gang-ridden neighborhoods and rampant drug usage by putting black kids in Harvard only to see them flunk out because they don't have the background to compete in that environment. So what is the solution? Give everyone an 'A' and reduce the value of a Harvard degree to the same as toilet paper? No, not IMO. Note that Trump is now trying to use Liberal methods for White Nationalists.
