Avenatti was NOT part of any agreement between Trump and Daniels to not reveal the affair in exchange for $130,000. That was done by a lawyer named Davidson.
Avenatti can not testify to anything about payment to conceal the affair since he was not party to it.
We don't have to take the word of Avenatti or Cohen for anything since we have papers signed by Daniels and the testimony of David Pecker.
On one hand you argue that Trump was blackmailed and paid off to prevent his family from finding out and then you argue that Trump had nothing to do with it and it was all Cohen.
Which is it? It can't be both.
Did Trump know about the payment or not?
Did Trump authorize the payment or not?
If you answer no to both of those questions then your claim of blackmail is complete bullshit.
There is absolutely nothing that Avenatti could testify to about the payment to Daniels since he was not her lawyer at the time.
Avenatti only became Daniels' lawyer to try to get out of the NDA that had been signed years earlier. As such, he can't testify to anything Daniels told him since it is protected by attorney/client relationship and no crime was committed to pierce that relationship.
