Blame Congress for Inflation

"The rise in energy is mainly money inflation since 2001"

Obfuscate... you posted the above earlier. It was the first time you have been correct on this thread. Don't be so quick to disavow it.

Prices go up due to supply and demand also so I don't take that back. A price of an asset increasing does not equal inflation. However increases spent in one area due to supply/demand is lost in another area to equalibrium. Therefore no inflation exsists without a rise in the amount of money.

it says "mainly money inflation", implying that higher prices have other causes BESIDES inflation, which is the part due to monetary abuse. It says prices are due to inflation, not "inflation" is due partially to "inflation". A rise in price is a rise in price, which may or may not be to to inflation, which is a SPECIFIC kind of price increase, the kind due to money supply.

Superfreak if you want to call an increase in one good inflation go ahead. If you want to disagree on how loosley the term inflation is then this is pointless. If you want to tell me prices can, on average increase across the board without an increase in the money supply then we'll just never agree.

Damm, so the US could have money supply stay constant and have global demand for oil skyrocket.
We won't call the increase to our consumers inflation becuase money supply is unchanged. OK got it.

Ok. We'll just call it Higher prices due to demand outpacing supply.

That is not what I stated you fucking moron. I stated rising oil prices are INFLATIONARY... for some reason you cannot fathom the difference in the two terms. The price of oil works its way into damn near every good and service in our economy. So yes, when it rises it is most certainly inflationary.

Just because you guys ignore/don't understand the deflationary effects of the money not spent because say oil prices took up that money doesn't mean it isn't deflationary. I'd like to hear a counter argument to that.

You guys can give examples of the inflation you descibe right? Or it's never happened but it can is your point? Pretty soon you tards will be telling me labor unions cause inflation also.....

Do you mean rising oil prices are inflationary? Are are oil prices inflationary even if they're going down? Inflation is not equal to higher prices, it is a specific reason prices rise, that reason being money supply.

God, I can’t wait till Asshat gets laid so he can stop working out his frustrated sexual desires via gay pornographic descriptions of what he fantasizes he is doing to other male posters here.

I mean, it’s actually nauseating.
You just want some too, you little minx. Meow!

No moron, if oil prices are going down they would be deflationary as the cost of goods would subsequently be going down.
