Blunt puts it bluntly :McCain is a third Bush term

Your Problem cawacko is McCain is the same as a third Bush term.

Obama is a good Democrat and needs not be different vastly then the platform.

Its Bush the world hates not the Dems.

It's not my problem Desh. Yes McCain is a Republican. Yes Bush is a Republican. So there beliefs will be closer to each other than to a Democrat. I showed you where they are different but if you want me to say one's liberal and one's a conservative that's not the case.

With your McCain=Bush all you are doing is parroting a Democratic talking point which involves zero thinking.

Most of that list was "well McCain used to be this".

The problem is he is now right in line with Bush on all the so called "maverick" stuff he used to talk about.

Then someone actually examined his voting record and it shows he votes party line a huge amount of the time no matte rwhat he "says".

He is a third Bush term and its very easy to draw the parallels

The good thing about that talking point is that is happens to be true. "Democratic talking points" are also know as "facts."

I'll let you in on a little secret. When you're a partisan Democrat all Republicans all the same.

As an analogy, some on the left will tell you Bill Clinton wasn't a real progressive while President. Yet some on the right will say that socialist Bill Clinton. It's a matter of prespective.

Since you force me to repeat myself McCain is a Republican, Bush is a Republican. They have more in common together than they do with Democrats. Within the Republican Party and ideals they are not the same. For a 'thinking' person it's a pretty easy concept to understand.

McCain is not Bush; he's smarter, more experienced, less arrogant, more willing to compromise & work with Dems, and would be a better President, by a long, long shot.

However, I think the premise that his Presidency would be a 3rd Bush term is not that far off; he would continue many of the policies that are simply not working, with regard to Iraq, the economy, energy & a host of other issues. Also, like Bush, he seems genuinely disinterested in many aspects of domestic policy.

You are a partisan Democrat ?

Too stand out and away from Bush he will have to bail on the policies of Bush. He has yet to do that. As a matter fo fact their differances have narrowed significantly in the last four years.

There is policy, and there is competence. McCain's Presidency will be different from Bush's because he'll probably react better to crises, appoint better people & not cronies, and make decisions from a place less guided by ego.

Policywise, he's not different. The only difference is that he WILL work with Congress more than Bush, and won't be uncompromising about legislation, so there will be a difference in the policy that is enacted because of the influence of Congress.

Frankly, I can't help but be excited no matter who wins, because the Bush years have been nothing short of tragic, on so many levels. McCain will be a better President; I want Obama much, much more, but McCain's an improvement.

if mccain gets elected, policys wont matter... the left will continue it rampage, and the right will do nothing about it.... basicly the poo flinging will just intensify
