No wonder Canada is so fucked up. Giving money to the street corner beggar only encourages more of the same.
 
Obama was correct. We should start trade with Cuba. They have been suffering from our eternal boycott. There have been generations suffering from our actions. They are normal people who would love to start a business and buy and sell things. If you believe in capitalism, you would use it to allow Cuba to change. The right does not believe that opening trade with them would be good for both of us. They have an old" Communist" label that makes rightys crazy and stupid.

Trade would only result in the end of their regime, take them over by culture, not starvation.

I don’t understand. It is such a small island, surely all of their energy needs can be obtained through wind and solar solar right?

Who needs nasty oil? Why are you advocating oil profits?

Cuba is not a failure without US trade embargo. Like many nations would be.

For an island nation 90 miles from the United States, yes. But they can survive if other nations get involved.

Florida is not the reddest of States, silly.

It isn't? Remember when it used to be a swing state when you cried about Al Gore? It is about as red as can be. Unless you weren't paying attention last election. Or maybe you think your girl Kamala Harris won Florida?

Its simply not as red as Utah or Alabama. Not as backwards or poor either. Oh, I forgot about Mississippi and Oklahoma.
 
Dropping the trade embargo that is over 60 years old would open up a lot of investment opportunities for a lot of US companies and would not only help them but help the US economy too.
