The latest alcohol related death statistics I could find was for 1996. It was 110,640. That's 6.15 times your 18,000 murders by guns. Using your logic it is 6.15 times more imperative that we ban all alcohol than guns.

Again, this doesn't take into consideration the rise in population in the US or the rate of decrease in China because of the 1 child laws.

The reality is they are about 2.some times larger. Or our population is about 40% of theirs.

It also doesn't take into consideration that the Chinese Government tends to report, shall we say, "optimistically" to make themselves appear better.
