Crazy Joe Rogan, OUT!

He is leaving MAGA, going to vote for Kennedy, like a lot of former MAGA.
Being an avid UFC fan since UFC 1, I'm familiar with Rogan who came on board years later. I find him to be a great commentator for fights, but I also find him to be a moron anywhere else.

As the host of Fear Factor, which I never watched, I'm sure he loved being the center of attention. I find his stand up comedy lacking.

The podcast is relatively new, and he advises that nobody take anything he says seriously. He gets high, drinks bourbon and interviews a variety of other conspiracy theorists who come on his show. He's a lifelong Liberal, though. He never supported trump, which must be awkward when his boss sucks trump off whenever he gets the chance. Dana White spoke at the R.N Convention this year. His loyalty is understandable because when the UFC was banned in many states trump held events at his Jersey casinos. White never forgot that.

But...supporting Kennedy is pretty much what one would expect from Rogan. He spent more than a year supporting anti vax nonsense. Again...with the qualifier that nobody should ever take him seriously.

Id like to see that. I saw a quote where he said "I am voting for Kennedy." Maybe you are correct and I got duped, Ill look into it.

I only ever listened to him once, so see what it was all about, basically silly stuff, like you would have heard in Highschool sitting on the bus with a bunch of teenage guys.
Rogan does indeed support Kennedy.

Just so long as RFK Jr.'s candidacy siphons off MAGA fence sitters and not Dem fence sitters. Although how ANYONE at this time can be a fence sitter is beyond me.

I still think it's a worry that RFK probably appeals more to the Left even with his bizarre positions on things.
He appealed to the Left when many were against Biden running. Neither party will ever get the third party loons, so I don't believe Kennedy is a worry for anyone but trump.

This is a really interesting thread to read. I preface by repeating I know who Rogan is in a general sense but I don't watch UFC, I don't listen to his podcast and I know very little about his views. But you have people saying he is/was all #MAGA and others saying that isn't the case.

For starters is it possible to be high profile in 2024 and not have your politics be front and center to who you are? Is it possible, as it seems Rogan might be (?) to not be a staunch Democrat or Republican loyalist?

Doing a simple Google search (and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) I get the impression he was a liberal but got a little disenchanted with some of their positions while not turning into a Republican or Trump supporter? Thus he's offended people on both sides?
