On Thursday, Mr. Iger and Josh D’Amaro, Disney’s theme park and consumer products chairman, showed that they were not bluffing, pulling the plug on a nearly $1 billion office complex that was scheduled for construction in Orlando. It would have brought more than 2,000 jobs to the region, with $120,000 as the average salary, according to an estimate from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity.

so unless Disney gets to run elections where they hand pick the eventually winner, they will not build in the state

GOOD

All corporate fascists that like this can seriously fuck off

Ouch, that’s going to hurt Central Florida, Ronnie certainly didn’t anticipate Mickey Mouse was going bite back in his cultural war crusade

Interesting, as they usual do, the right ain’t calling for a boycott on Disney, least as far as I have seen, why do you suppose that is?

because it is their right to not build

it is not their right to set up a crony government where only rich landowners get to vote

why do you fascists support that? cuckoo cuckoo

Disneys profit has dropped a billion dollar’s in the 2022/2023 financial quarters dropping thei stock price so I highly doubt the shareholders want spending a billion more on new office space

This has nothing to do with Florida and everything to do with Disneys new woke ideology

It has more to do with corporate America hemorrhaging jobs as they dump office space.

Whine, cry, and sob.

you are a child

I am stating facts. Disney is a corporation that created a fascist model of government accountability

No reasonable person respects a form of democracy where only rich land owners get to vote and the more land you own, the more votes you get to place.

Apparently, this is going to backfire in fascist dictator Desantis's face.

His popularity is plummeting nationally already. Hopefully, this will take a chunk out of his popularity in Florida.

The staff of Disney's Imagineering division in California complained bitterly to management about having to transfer to Florida.

You just know there are a lot of gays working in Disney's art and graphics departments

"fascist model of government" this sure sounds like the opinion of a feeble minded Magatard.
