Hitler may have been an atheist (not wholly established) but he knew the quickest way to get Europeans on board with murdering Jews was the play the RELIGION card.

And so long as you are keeping score, how many Jews were killed throughout the entire Middle Ages by Christians? (Hint: A LOT)

And finally: There is literally NOTHING about atheism that suggests murdering people is good. But there sure as hell is in Judeo-Christianity. Just read 1 Samuel 15:3.

God OFTEN commanded genocide in his name. He OFTEN commands in the pages of the Bible that people be murdered.

Show me one single atheist document that says atheism demands murder. You won't find it. But I can find where God did.
