I was on the beach in Hawaii and at sunset almost everyone stood up and watched and many took pictures. No one needs to debate an absolute concept.

What's an "absolute concept"? I haven't heard that designation before.

I imagine that were I to start at the beginning and peruse this thread,
I might be advised of alternate perspectives.
