Economic indicators and the debt

How about taxes? Welfare reform? Spending? Environmental policy? The defense budget? Guns? Disaster aid? Election reform? Health care reform?

If we could actually make a concerted effort on any one of these issues, maybe our country could make a meaningful change in direction. But as of now? We're in a partisan gridlock.

There is no constitutional authority for federal welfare involvement, subsidies or federal socialist programs.

What Democrat do you know of who would compromise on environmental policy?

What Republican do you know who would compromise on defense spending aside from possibly Rand Paul?

What “gun” compromise would stimulate the economy? Guns are already stimulating the economy since Obama has declared “War On Guns.” Gun sales are up dramatically.

There’s no constitutional authority for the federal government to be involved in spending on disaster relief.

How would election reform get the economy going?

There’s no constitutional authority for the federal government to be involved in healthcare.

Yet another left wing nut that cannot comprehend what is written. No toppy, I said we have had anemic growth under Obama during his first term. I was referring to his entire time in office.

Now I ask you again, when was the last time the US had GDP growth over 3% for an entire year? Not just one quarter toppy... but the entire year???
Lets see how q4 turns out skippy, a million years ago in college my prof didn't use 3 percent as anemic growth!

2009 -3.1% (not saying Obama's fault, just stating number for reference)
2010 2.4%
2011 1.8%

2012
qtr 1 : 2.0%
qtr 2 : 1.3%
qtr 3 : 3.1%

So yes, that is anemic growth

The answer by the way: 2005 is the last year we had 3% GDP growth for the year

Yes to a partisan hack
Bush had it down to -8
On the back of a bloated house of Wall Street cards.
Current growth is in manufacturing and energy production
Much more sustainable

Are you a teacher now?
The economy is in really good shape and getting better!
Conservatard on by all means supertool.

The economy is in really good shape?

Unemployment still at 7.8%
Labor Participation rate back where it was in early 1980's
Trillion dollar deficits
$16T+ in total debt
Massive problems with Medicare
Skyrocketing health care costs
Insane growth rates in Higher Education costs

We have some big problems that need to be resolved. Burying our heads in the sand will probably work for us... but future generations are going to be pissing on our graves for fucking them over.

Record corp profits
Clear and sure path to energy independence
Increasing civil rights, some not fast enough
Minority grades going up
Housing recovering on solid new mortgages
Auto's recovering really well
3 percent GDP

Record corp profits

Um yeah... profits as a percentage of GDP are indeed at a record high... at the same time wages as a percentage of GDP are at a record low. How good is that for the economy toppy?

Clear and sure path to energy independence

We have had that for decades. Yet the idiots in DC continually refuse to walk the path.

Increasing civil rights, some not fast enough

While that is always a good thing, what does that have to do with the economy???

Minority grades going up

Again, what does this have to do with the state of the economy? Also, could you link us up to this... I would like to read up on it.

Housing recovering on solid new mortgages

In some parts of the country yes, in others... no. Most of the people that can refi have. Most of them won't be refinancing again unless they change homes. Rates are not likely to ever be this low again.

Auto's recovering really well

Link?
3 percent GDP

Again... 3% for ONE QUARTER.

Common knowledge teach, do your own research!
Then you'll be able to quit that shit job
Again... 3% for ONE QUARTER.
One at a time

Again... 3% for ONE QUARTER.

Profits aren't going up because of increasing revenues. They are increasing because of expense cutting. That is not the hallmark of a revved up economy. This is the worst recovery in history.

But I don't expect the Obama worshippers to acknowledge facts

Lloyd blankfein called the us economic environment very good today super tool!
You pitiful hack

Lol... so you can't address anything I stated, you just resort to your pathetic cheap insult attempts?

Blankfein is also one of the mother fuckers that led us into fiscal calamity. Keep that in mind when quoting that fucker.

Oh... and he is also the one that said he is 'doing Gods work'
