Fed announces: "This is a good economy"

The last three years have taught me not to trust the relentless MAGA predictions of imminent economic collapse

Republicans told us EVERYTHING was great right before they crashed the entire world economy back in 2008

They are always wrong on economic policy

The American people are beginning to notice that pattern

I don't think that it's a good economy at all, but I don't blame Biden for it.

I blame America's anachronistic version of free enterprise.
It served the industrial revolution well.
It's a buggy whip now.
So, what is wrong with the economy that Biden has control over?

I remember the teabag posters here in 2007 and 2008 hollering at you that the Bush economy was strong and resilient

Biden or no other one individual has control over our economy.

Our distribution of wealth, however, clearly indicates exploitation of the working class
by the corporate oligarchy.

We don't need to create ceilings,
but we definitely need to establish much higher floors,

and that, to some extent, will lower the ceilings
but not enough to eliminate the privileged class...which is not the goal.

The privileged class provides incentive by its existence.

Any economy needs both private and public sectors,
which means that it needs both capitalism and socialism,
but we've got the proportions way out of whack.

Life is simply much harder than it needs to be for the typical citizen.

It cannot be mitigated as long as the working class in interior America
keeps supporting its own oppressors, however.

In addition to an underperforming economy,
we have an underperforming national IQ.

Uscitizen was right with me

Man I miss him

He always turned out to be correct when the shit went down just like he said

I wonder if posters like Damo would admit how awesome UScitizen was

And then you deny the cold hard economic facts

Do you understand how brain fucked that makes you!

You are not a real person

Great poster.

The Teabaggers mocked UScit mercilessly.

But he had the wisdom to see George Dumbya Bush was a terrible president, that invading Iraq was a dumb ass idea, and that the Bush economy was on a trajectory to disaster.

That's a very good track record of judgement.

I miss him, too. He was a great poster.

So, how is Biden responsible, I’ve seen him back the unions and labor, so, again, why blame Biden, this problem was not created by him, what do you expect him to do? Who do you see as having better ideas that can be implemented?

At no point did I suggest that Biden is responsible.
I appreciate his support of labor over his entire public career.

I don't particularly like him, because he's moderate and I'm considered extreme,
and I also think that people in my own age group are too old to be POTUS,

but I'm almost certainly going to be voting for him.

Your arguments aren't with me, Phan.

Suck that Putin cock while you deny the cold hard economic facts

There are many ways our country is better and many ways we’re failing, but learning as we go. I prefer 2024 to 1964.

I think “life is harder” needs further definition, harder physically? mentally? emotionally?

Yes, I deleted the post, I read your statement wrong. I apologize. See the new post.

1. I had a hell of a lot more fun in the 1960s than I'm having now.
The 1990s were better yet.
I was older, yes, but had more money.

2. Economically.
Not compared to any other point in time.
Compared to how it should be right now.

I guess all that matters to you is how you were doing, not how we were doing as a nation.

Financially

Due to long time Republican lies and race hate

I guess all that matters to you is how you were doing, not how we were doing as a nation.

He repeats trump lies

Like protests from 911 days

Like he completely denies the cold hard economic numbers

We used to have a poster who professed to be a liberal and when ever the Dems narrowed down a candidate he would spew non stop hate on them

After a couple of elections I called him out on it

And instead of stopping his attacks he fled the site

Can’t remember his name
