Part time jobs after school maybe four or five hours a night at fast food joints... fine.

Working 8 hour shifts at nights plus the graveyard shift in a factory or warehouse or stripping and waxing commercial floors etc, until 6 am is something altogether different and you know it.

The kids who'd be slaving on the DeShameless Plantation are not necessarily the same kids running around a 2 am. They're probably regular kids who, for whatever reason, feel they need to work to make money and so they put their grades at risk by taking on jobs that adults used to do until dumpster donnie and Wrong DeShithead kicked them out of the country then realized too late that they provided a valuable labor resource which in turn led to them trying this cravenly desperate move.
