I do not believe it is racism. Hypocrisy maybe, depends on how she did it and why. Not sure if she had "reformed" or not.
When I was a prosecutor, prosecuting marijuana, I abstained, but I had in my post smoked it. I knew many prosecutors who regularly prosecuted and smoked marijuana. I also prosecuted DUI, but had in my past broken that law.
