Got Socialism?!!

A little thin skinned, you are allowed name calling but, watch out Mott, don't make a joke or we will have to break up?

Your tough guy facade is cracked...:loveu:

Oh I know!!

So Douchy Dixie gets to unload whatever sickening insults he wants at Liberals...but God forbid he winds up on the receiving end of some of the same vitriol he spews daily...suddenly he's "boo hoo hoo"ing and threatening to put people on ignore.

There are several reasons we spend 18% of our GDP on health care. Some of that can be attributed to supply and demand. In the United States, people are free to decide how much they want to spend on health care, whereas people of other nations do not always have that luxury.

However, the rising cost of health care can be attributed for the most part to obscene regulation, frivolous/exorbitant malpractice lawsuits, and a disconnect between the value and cost of health care created by Medicare and Medicaid.

The problem with your premise is that it assumes we have free market health care, when in reality we do not.

excellent mott pwnage

you might want to take off your hack glasses for once....your buddy rana once claimed i do nothing but attack people in threads, so she put me on ignore...yet that is all onceler does to various posters in threads...you know, just like you do....but you won't call her out on her hypocrisy for constantly thanking libs when they attack righties

Look at any country with full government medical. They all show savings and the citizens in every one of those countries insist on keeping their government plan.

The overwhelming evidence is private enterprise is the problem. It has no place in the medical care of citizens.

I don't agree.

At all.

You're first statement is a fact. You second statement is incorrect.

There is no reason why health care reform cannot be a public/private partnership, which it is in most nations. Only a few industrial wealthy nations have completely socialized their health care systems, Canada and the UK for example. Most have not. France (who leads the world in outcomes) is a perfect example. Their system is still substantially a private system. The same is true in Japan, Taiwan and Switzerland.

What these nations have in common in terms of health care reform are;

A single payer system.

Universal Coverage.

Cost Controls.

Those three fundamental principles can be accomplished succesfully as private/public partnership and that's the route most modern nations have taken. It looks as this is the route the US will take too.

All you liberals shouldn't even be here to implement more socialism, because this country was stolen from the native inhabitants and should not exist. Everything you cherish is a product of colonialism. ZOMG!!!

Ahhhhh yes..."supply and demand". Such a wonderful, empathic way of determining healthcare costs.

But still, it's not as callous as telling the poor they are "free to decide" how much they wish to spend on healthcare.

People "are free to decide" how much to spend on healthcare?

REALLY??

So the guy with Pancreatic Cancer is free to decide? For anyone who's grown fond of BREATHING over the course of their life it's NO DECISION AT ALL...spend HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of dollars you may not have...OR DIE.

It's "obscene regulation" that has made hospitals safe for the sick...it's "obscene regulation" that has made sure that patients have rights when their Doctors screw up...it's "obscene regulation" that keep the "for profit" pharmaceutical companies from gouging the sick by overcharging for medicine.

Sorry, not buying your excuses.

Child please. We spend twice as much per person! That's a lot of boob jobs homey and I don't know about you but I aint seeing that many nice sets of tits.

personally I much prefer natural. Please check annual dr salaries in liberal Eutopea vs $250,000 here.

No, but if you see him, tell him to go back to Europe where he belongs, and take as many invaders with him as he can. America for the Amerikaners!!

Arguments shot down, all of his claims refuted, all the flaws pointed out?

Show me ONE country which implemented a government plan and then reverted to a "pay or suffer" system. Just ONE.

In every country with a government health care system the people insist the government maintain that system. Again, not ONE exception.

Please come back to reality, Dix.
The government says eat, drink and be merry or get a job.....

and Apple the pinhead brags that everyone picks the eat, drink and be merry, every time........... well.....no shit dude....the fact is...socialism, just like the welfare state is unsustainable...

As for the second statement, "The overwhelming evidence is private enterprise is the problem. It has no place in the medical care of citizens", I suppose it depends on how one looks at it.

Services are available through private entrepreneurs, HOWEVER, those services are also available through the government plan. For example, I can have a blood draw done in the doctor's office, by a nurse. Then they send it to a private lab, receive the results and bill me at least $125.00, depending on the test. Or I can go to a public clinic, have a blood draw, the sample sent to a hospital and the results faxed to my doctor the next day. Cost: $0.00

While I may wait an hour to have a blood draw most people have to work a lot longer than an hour to make $125.00 net pay to give to the doctor/nurse/lab.

Perhaps I should have said private enterprise should never be the only option.

Why is it unsustainable? To say medical care for each and every citizen is unsustainable is saying the US is unable to look after it's ill citizens and that's absurd.

Because, people like me are running out of money, (tax payer) and can't pay for it. Anymore!

Oh,,,, and we're not rich.

Then you should not have spent it on an illegal war, should you? When are you going to come to your senses and point the finger of blame where it belongs?
