If you have an IQ over 115, and watch quality news and investigative reports, FRONTLINE on PBS tonight is doing a report called "Rules of Engagement", which documents what happened on that day in Haditha, Iraq. And it's consequences for Bush's War in Iraq.


Or, you could watch Faux News, and find out which strippers or porn stars Bill O'Reilly is interviewing.
 
Don't forget MSNBC and watching Keith Olbermann pull a Michael Savage as he gives himself a heart attack on the air.
 
I couldn't watch it. I saw Redacted several weeks ago, where it was only reenacted and I'm still not over it.

It made me think of some things IHG used to say about men. Too bad he left.

You can't really grasp what happened that day without being afraid of men when they are in groups of two or more. I'm done with this stuff. I already know, and I feel like, why do I have to keep having this stuff in my head? War supporters should be strapped into chairs and forced to watch these things over and over. But I need a long break from them, personally.

Cawacko, can you tell me your explanation for why one in three woman in our military are either sexually assaulted or raped? They are our troops too, did you know that?

Do you have an explanation for this Cawacko?

I was shocked when I was told it was 1 in 4 in regular society.

I'm not, but I was shocked that so many of our male soldiers are rapists. Do you ever wonder how they are treating the native women of the countries they occupy? I mean, if our own American female troops are terrified of going to the latrine at night, because it's considered a preying ground...I wonder what they do to the native women?

Well, there's that. They also all torture and seek out innocents to kill. That's between rapes of course. It's hard to do all that with the limited time you have while raping everybody, I don't know how they do it!

So are you saying that our troops are liars?

If our female troops are reporting rapes and sexual assaults at rates of 1 in 3, committed against them by our male troops, we have two conclusions.

Either our troops are liars, or they're rapists. Which do you think it is?

I think both of the numbers are exaggerated and you will find "it is estimated". The reason that they estimate those numbers is because they guess at how many it happened to who didn't report it.

I know I never saw it happen, and would have probably killed the idiot if I had.

Please link us to the report. You will find it suggest the number 1 in 3 while assuming many that don't report it.

But the military brass compiling these figures are morons.

Actually I asked for the report, because I believe it will say exactly what I suggested it will, that often such crimes are unreported and gives "as many as" rather than a real number of reports for that very reason.
