Personally, I wouldn’t attack Weird Walz so much for the more technical “stolen valor” issue. IOW, instead of attacking more technical issues that can be easier brushed off, I’d attack on issues that present a very stark contrast between two different visions for the country… Anyone “on the fence” this cycle would be more inclined to vote based on a fear of Harris/Walz condoning “mutilating one’s children’s genitals without one’s consent” much more-so than “Walz stole some valor”.

This is why I wouldn't go the "stolen valor" route with the attacks... It just won't sway people because it isn't personal to them. It'll appeal to military families (who already largely vote for conservatives anyway), but that's about it.
A good political hit-piece has to be made PERSONAL to as many everyday working class people as possible, inflicting fear that the other side is "taking away what is THEIRS.
Hit him for wanting to be the parent of your own children instead of yourself (that attack worked in Virginia). Hit him for wanting to mutilate children's genitals without parental consent... hit him for being "Tampon Tim" (putting tampons in boys bathrooms)... hit him for condoning the killing of defenseless babies up until the moment of birth (even AFTER!)... hit him for advocating taking away YOUR jobs (illegals, anti-fracking, etc), YOUR healthcare, YOUR vehicles, YOUR dinner plate (anti-meat agenda), YOUR housing (illegals, priced out of them due to THEIR hyper inflation economy that THEY created, etc), YOUR safe neighborhoods, and etc etc
