That term is used by people who understand economics, and if you don't fully grasp the concept, it's OK. Every dollar printed devalues all other wealth (including savings) and makes people poorer. That becomes horrendous wealth redistribution that slides everyone except the favored individuals towards poverty and there is nothing that We the People can do about it.
