And you'd have to be a fcking idiot to vote for someone who you know not to be a good candidate for the presidency. I'm not rewarding any more failed politicians with more power.

Fuck you! My vote is mine. Why should I vote for a warmonger? Why should anyone that claims to support peace or civil liberties vote for Hillary?

It's irresponsible and stupid to vote for candidates that oppose your core values over and over again. Unless, your only concern is bigger government then this is what Democrats do repeatedly. And, unless, they only support war (WRL), this is what Republicans do repeatedly.

You want to be an unthinking party drone, go for it. But stfu with your idiotic and empty argument that it is irresponsible to demand more than a label for one's vote.

...and so it begins. Every single election, we get the same tired bullshit arguement about wasting votes. When every election we get two totally worthless candidates, we are told to vote for the lesser of two evils, or we are idiots. I'm sorry, the idiots would have to be the people parroting the same line election after election about 'wasting votes' and not getting any sort of change. If Hillary is the nominee, you are basically asking to keep this country divided and asking independents to hold their nose AGAIN! No thanks, I'll take your criticism and tell you where to shove it.

And if you were a Superdelegate people would trash you for that depending on what "the will of the voters" was. Do you think they should follow the "will of the voters" or vote for whom they believe to be the best for the job?
 
The whole idea of the Superdelegate is that the party cogs know better what's good for the people than the people do. If it was just a matter of the superdelegates going to the polls and voting like everyone else they would have no more power than anyone else. But this whole Superdelegate thing would make a facist proud. Let the people have the illusion of voting then we "smarter" party members will make sure the tired and not so true candidate gets the nod. It is democratic elitism at its worst.

I agree, they're anti-democratic and elitist. But this is all so moot. They are NOT going to go against the will of the voters. That's a pipe dream, in my opinion. Not going to happen.

That's an interesting question but I think the electoral college should listen to the will of the people for the most part. If a candidate who's the likes of Hitler or Stalin was elected by the people I would want the super delegates to over rule that vote but 3rd party candidates don't fall into that category and even a district voted for a big L libertarian or a Green, I think it would be appropiate to follow suit.

As for superdelegates Yeah, they should follow the will of the people one for one

In order to change it all, they'd have to vote as a bloc. That won't happen either. Nor are they all party apparati...

If you are talking about Rae, then we have not found any connection as of yet. He attended the Dem convention in WI and was elected over a union leader and a politician. As of the last time I checked he is going with Obama, despite his breakfast with the child of Billary.

First and foremeost...I was not calling John a traitor in the war sense...I don't like his policies on Illegal Immigration,Job outsourcing,cheap labor insourcing Nafta/Cafta and a few other policies...as for the the fisaco about Obama... the Radio Talk show host was just hyping up the base...as Obama does give the personna of one supporting corrupt business dealings and soft on terrorists...as for using Obamas Middle name...so what it is his middle name!

John was an embarrassment bowing down and apologizing he looked really weak!...John made a big mistake he cannot afford to lose conservatives...Independents come in liberal/libertarians as well as conservative clothing...I being a super conservative...And for the record I am not a Republican...I am a registered 'American Independent' so your comment about catering to Independents was a moot point! And no I was not a Army Ranger...Armor/ Air Cav!

Hillary will probably win KY becuase of rascism, but only one state has a primary after we do so it won't matter much.
I hung out at the other country store in my neighborhood the other day for a while and the rascist talk was just disgusting...won't be going back to that store for a while.
the idiots could not get past the rascism to see the politics of it all.
