Hillary won't get the nomination

The Democratic Party is the party of centrists with the DLC in full control.

The strategy of the party is to remain only slightly less evil than republicans in the hopes that liberals have nowhere else to go, thus they gain their votes by default. So no one should be surprised when many liberals refuse to be taken foir granted.

That's why I'm always bitching about the need for a parliamentary coalition system.

It would feel great to cast a vote knowing that it went to support ideas and policies you agree with entirely.

I actually left your name out of a later post I made, and just included Cawacko and Damo, because I did notice you don't seem to be in total denial.
It doesn't matter how many times you attempt to say I said anything like this, you will still be wrong. Each time you attempt to express my opinion for me you have been wrong, yet you keep trying it.

Is this a trait you have in common with Bush, if it doesn't work try it some more?

Do you think that the entire party is controlled by the DLC? I know if Hillary wins the DLC wins, but don't you think there is a more populist wing of the democratic party, that could break away and out with the right candidate?

It was a stupid comment but he didn't call for him to be shot. He would have been kicked out of the Senate if that were the case.

Insuinuated, but not ordered. Still enough to get him kicked out imho.
Butt seems to me that the repubs controlled both houses about that time in history....

The Democratic Party is a left-center coaltion, with competeing and differing agendas. That's the way our electoral system is set up. In a european parliamentary system Dennis Kucinich and Diane Feinstein would be in opposing parties.

Sometimes I think I do it out of some evil streak that I have, to bother you. I can't control myself.

What would the republican party do if a democratic congressperson had said that about george bush over the past 7 years?

That's the only question we need to ask.

That may be true from your perspective, but it is not mine. Democrats are centrists and pay scant attention to the agenda of the left other than lip-service.

The Green Party pays far more attention to the agenda of the left, thus I support the party that supports me.

If that is what you want...move to England...Join the Labour Party!...I would suggest the BNP though...they are akin to US policy...never mind ya really want 'Socialism'...so stick with the Labour Party...or else ya would be moving once again!

Ditto for the Libertarian Party.

Blac and I have been agreeing a lot lately.

Wtf are you talking about?

No one ever knows.

Just be happy you're not a woman, because then he would end his incoherent post with "are you wearing underwear?"

I think he may have just tried to call me a socialist, which if true, is probably the funniest thing ever to happen here.

Excellent. On this we agree. Other than the party, of course.

You have to put a coaltion together, to win anything above a school board seat or a city council seat in this country. Ideological purity doesn't win elections above that level.

I think you have to change the existing left-center coalition in this country (i.e. the Democratic party), unless there's a realistic strategy to replace them, a la' the republicans replacing the whigs.
