Hillary won't get the nomination

Well according to Rudy he is taking votes from Hillary inb blue states in droves, and no doubt, NY is in play if he is the R nominee. I don't belive it.

It does matter. I can't say I'd vote third party if I lived in Ohio. Tougher call.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Voting third party in NY is much different than doing so in some other states. I could write in my mom in California, its not going to matter. Hillary will win here handily.

A long way of saying you will vote for Hillary if she is the Democratic Presidential nominee.

Yes, if it comes down to Hillary versus Grandpa Thompson, or cross-dresser Rudy, that's a no brainer for me. Although, I really don't like hillary. No more repubilcan neocons, please.

Being in california though, I must admit I'd think about voting Green, since hillary will win california anyway. Just as a vote of conscence.

Democrat neocons are so much better....

According to superfreak (and I believe you at one time, too), Hillary for years has been faking being a centrist Democrat. Its all part of an elaborate trojan horse strategy to triangulate her way into office, whereupon she'd govern as a lefty.

Where you and superfreak wrong? ;)

Oh yeah, that's right. She's going to give us socialism.

I just think people are delusional if they think she isn't a neocon.

One can give us socialism along with the policies that are "neocon". Although I wouldn't say that she would bring socialism. I have never said that.

Her promises proposed would, so far, add 600 Billion to the current levels of spending. That is just so far.

All I know is im glad i can afford secondary healthcare in case i get sick. Sucks for the lower middle class and poor tho.

my Canadian family all pay for private secondary healthcare currently.

Damo, I'm sure that figure doesn't take into account rolling back the bush kickback to the upper 2% and other things.

But regardless, if being a big spender makes you a socialist, than Bush is Che Guevara.

It's an interesting point to ponder. As much as I can't stand Hillary, there are definitely circumstances where I'm voting for her.

Giuliani has bought full into the "hate us for our freedoms" garbage on terror, and is scary when he talks about foreign policy. To me, that's more of a danger than a more-or-less status quo candidate, who at least would be hard-pressed to veto a timeline bill on Iraq.

3rd party is basically not an option for me; I have always seen it as a waste of time & vote.

There can't be any Republican you would support and if third party isn't an option then Hillary it is for you.

Cost of healthcare is NOT fixed by passing that same cost without fixing the structure to another.

Yes. Hence the dissatisfaction I have felt over him long before we ever reached 2004.

That's probably true, though I'd consider Ron Paul if hell froze over & he actually got the nod.

There are better candidates further down the totem pole on both sides. It's why I'm hoping for a miracle on the Democratic side. I'd have no problem at all pulling a lever for Obama, Edwards, Richardson or Biden - none. There are much more quality candidates out there than Hillary.

I should find that post where you berated me for voting third party.

But the problem is that bush is not a socialist. This is just more of your stubborn insistence that deficit spending is a liberal thing. Of course, history tells us it is not.

It's just a matter of what it is spent on, that's all.

Try and snap yourself out of your state of denial Damo.

Stupid free democracy. What a waste of time to have more than 2 options on the ballot right? I'm sure you can't wait until they narrow it down further to just one option.

You disgust me sometimes.

I didn't say that at all. In fact, I stated that she is a long shot from socialism.

This is more of your belief that every person fits into a special box that you can discern from voter registrations. If I have an "R" by my name it means I think Hillary is a socialist. I don't. I think her spending policies are even worse than Bush's, that does not mean that I think she is a socialist.

Try and snap yourself out of the box of prejudice and assumed belief and actually read a post or two of mine ocassionally...

;)

Bush is pretty liberal economically.

I'd LOVE it if a 3rd party could actually be competitive in America.

The fact is, 3rd parties continue to lose ground in the days of the billion dollar campaign. They're pure fantasy at this point.

I'd be just as effective writing in a vote for Gore, even if he's not running. It's useless. Voting 3rd party is a cocktail party vote, so you can say "I didn't vote for either of those losers..."
