We had an active attempt at sedition and insurrection on Jan 6th which pretty much everyone in power has acknowledged Trump's role in fomenting. That includes the Republi'can' Speaker of the House, the Republican head of the Senate, and judge findings that Trump was responsible.

I do not think he has the power to "initiate" an insurrection today. I think he tried and failed on 1/6. If he gains the presidency I think he will work to do a better job than he did on 1/6, he will learn from his weaknesses. HE will appoint Generals loyal to him over the United States, he will take more time to plan it.

It might not work, but I am certain he will try and I think most Trumppers will support it.

I saw plenty of evidence on the videos of the violent attacks on the Capitol, and I heard Trump's speech, and I heard evidence of how he wanted to go lead the protestors, and I heard what he tried to talk Pence into doing, and on and on. Plenty of evidence of a coup attempt, and there was violence.

I also saw video of people being escorted by police throughout the building. So what? I also know an unarmed person was killed in cold blood that day. And if was a violent takeover of the government the police would have been well within their duties to kill more people. But they didn't did they? Stfu
