and diversity is a handicap that we must find a way to overcome.

Calling it a strength in the face of overwhelming evidence of its disadvantages
is refusing to accept any part of reality.

Nothing scares some humans like other humans.

Which, of course, makes no sense seeing as how we are all here on this planet together and we are far better off when we coordinate our efforts with other humans.
 
The idea that we are not all made by God in a factory producing identical people, and that homosapiens evolved into being a diverse group scares them because it destroys their idea of God who put humans on earth as we are today.
