No magic, The books were cooked to help Trump in the election. After he revealed himself in the bus audio, another woman scandal would likely have harmed him in the election. It was covered up for political reasons. That connection is clear enough that a Trumpy could understand it. The jury recognized it unanimously.
Nothing was cooked, and it had no effect on the election. Blocking and killing bad press is not a crime.

It took us 2 weeks to come to a decision on 4 charges in a federal case. As the jury foreman, I gave
each juror the opportunity to give their opinion on each of the 4 charges. We reviewed each charge
one at a time. There is no doubt these jurors could NOT have done that.
