Mayors do NOT appropriate the money needed to repair streets the city legislature does that he can ONLY ask them for the money.
and if they say no there is NOTHING he can do about it.

So, your excuse for failure is that he is so bad at being a politician he could not convince his city council that repairs to the streets (streets that were so bad that Dominos was able to use the poor state of the roads in the city in their ads) to appropriate funds to fix the potholes?

Agreed, Let's put Trump back in and see if he can get the mortgage rate back to under 3% and energy prices back to where they were when he left office so all our goods cost less to ship and deliver.

well as for the energy prices we would have to have the Saudis and Russia have another oil price war , and maybe Trump won't do anything about it till it is too late again, let see if he can run another 106 US oil drilling and oil producing companies out of business. Trump had NOTHING to do with the price of oil when he was in most of it was that oil price war
in fact US oil production hit 13 MBPD for ONE month under Trump and went down to 9.7 MBPD when Biden took over and is now and has been over 13 MBPD for some time now .
you give Trump too much credit for something he had nothing to do with. in fact, the US oil drillers and producers went to him and asked for help to stop the oil price war when it first started and Trump did nothing until those 106 US oil drilling and producing companies went bankrupt and most of them out of business for good, that is when he went to the Saudis and told them to cut their production and RAISE prices or he was going to stop ALL Military aid .
then they did and THEY haven't brought the price of oil down yet.
