Oh, I don't think the nation is done for. There have always been political differences, at times quite polarized. Oddly enough, there is nothing wrong with that.

IF it results in violence, then the violence is wrong, and people involved should be prosecuted and punished for it by the laws already on the books.
THIS is where it crosses the line. Arson, violence, looting, pillaging, perjury, graft and corruption, sexual deviations, and murder; such as is common among Democrats, are crimes and should be treated as such (regardless of who does it!).

Don't see how. Democrats want Universal Health Care (read: government health care). This is communism. Conservatives want private health care (capitalism).

Frankly, while I see you wanting to 'bury the hatchet', so to speak, I think it's wishful thinking. Democrats keep digging up the hatchet.

Food IS chemicals. ALL chemicals have risks of using them (even water!). That's why there are MSD sheets for every chemical describing it's characteristics and risks of using it.

So what is a 'dangerous' chemical? Even water is a dangerous chemical, in it's own way.

The only way for this conversation to get anywhere is to be specific and discuss the pros and cons of each chemical in food, and most people don't understand any chemistry.
